The Story of the Tiny Gallery
Part 1
There once was a scraggly middle aged Silver Maple growing on Edgewood. It was minding its own business, providing shade and doing its thing, when along came a derecho. The derecho turned its limbs into javelins.
The derecho destroyed many limbs, and revealed that the Silver Maple needed to come down.
So, down it came. Mostly.

It all came down except for a 5 foot stump, which stood on Edgewood for quite some time. I had a vision though, so we let it be an eyesore for a bit.
Eventually I started asking around to see if anyone in the area was skilled enough with a chainsaw to help me see my vision through. I wanted to cut out a notch to create a space to share and exchange art.
It was surprisingly hard to find anyone with a chainsaw ready to take on this odd request. Luckily this guy decided to give it a go.
